‘Two’s Company’ Cabinteely Park.

Watercolour painting from Cabinteely Park. Co. Dublin. This is a winter scene from mostly memory. As you may know..we haven’t had snow in this country for the past few years. This was the winter of 2018 when we had a flurry of light snow over a few days. Luckily I took a few images on my phone. With these, I took a series of sketches later and came up with this watercolour. The snow in the scene is slightly exaggerated and made to look thicker to the viewer. Snow scenes are always popular, maybe as it’s a ‘novelty’ and now with global warming creeping upon us, it’s a very welcome eye-opener!
