‘The Girl on her Phone’ Seapoint

I love figures in a landscape, and this one captured my imagination. This girl sitting alone browsing through her phone, oblivious to the beautiful surrounds..like most teens today! The foreground rocks are also the mainstay of the painting. I really love painting rocks and pebbles, so much character and hold they have on any painting. The tiny figures walking on the low tide shoreline (far right) invite the viewer to ‘seek out’ more.
