‘Reflections’ Seapoint, Co. Dublin.

‘Reflections’ Seapoint, Co. Dublin is a very calm and subtle painting. I enjoy painting around this beach because of the vitality of life and subject matter.

The Martello tower is always present in most of my works at this scene. It’s synonymous on the east coast of Dublin bay From Malahide in North Co. Dublin to Sandycove on the south side.

This watercolour painting is mostly blue values/tones. The ‘Reflections’ in the foreground compliment the threatening dark sky. Also, the light blue sea would indicate the cold sea.
