Follow Me: acrylic painting. I did this painting from a sketch called ‘on-the-spot’. The location: Dun Laoghaire Harbour, a lovely little town harbour.
What really attracted me to this location was the scene’s activity; you have figures going off for a morning of paddle boarding. The perspective was what i was looking for. The dark sea colour against the lighter sky, and figures all in different positions to move the viewer’s eyes through the painting—also, the background pier wall and colourful boats; all add interest.
