The beautiful beach on the Southside of Dublin Bay. This small cove nestled between Bray, Co. Wicklow and Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. It attracts many visitors annually. However, on this September afternoon when i was there, it was jam packed with people – the likes never seen in ages. So i took my sketchbook..(thankfully) and camera. This is the result. My main focus was the sea and Killiney Hill in the backround. Of course the figures and the ‘Blue Tent’ (hence the title) are very visable, so i wanted them to pull the viewer closer.
