Curracloe Beach

This is a watercolour sketch from Curracloe Beach Co. Wexford. I painted this plein-air from the location, what I like about this particular scene was the amount of beachcasters fishing on the strand.

Also, i needed to give balance to the scene with the figures in the left mid-ground which add interest to mundane weather conditions.
