Autumn Shadows

Autumn Shadows Cabinteely Park. This is a Watercolour painting I did from a sketch on-site from the beautiful part of Dublin South called Cabinteely.

I’ve painted quite a few paintings from this location. It’s a special place. Full of character and fauna.

This particular painting featured here is a scene from the top of the wooded park. The viewer can see a couple walking in the Autumn afternoon sunlight. The deep long autumn shadows cast they’re light over the landscape.

The after-sunlight was genuinely stunning. I captured it on my DLR camera along with my field sketch.
