‘The Kaligarian J’ Dun laoghaire Harbour.

The Kaligarian J is a boat, fishing trawler. I’m very familiar with it. I’ve painted it many times over the years. There’s something very unusual about it, and it stands out to the other trawlers…it’s mostly white and has an odd bow, which i love.

This watercolour painting was done in one setting from a drawing I did on-site. I try to develop my paintings mostly from the actual site/area of interest.
