Watercolour based on an R.N.L.I day show based on the current and vintage fleet of vessels in the harbour basin two years ago.I had an old sketch and decided to re-create the the setting.This particular boat: The ‘Watson Class’. A 42′ foot hull life boat served around the 50’s to the 80’s and had a max speed of approx 8 knots. A truly stunning boat that stands the test of time, even in today’s modern/digital fleet.
