This painting was done a few weeks back when i’d lots of time to paint. I love painting, especially when i’m in a ‘frenzy’ and i’d keep going night and day if i could! However, life gets in the way and things go a bit slow… Well enough of that!
This was a watercolour i really enjoyed doing. I hope i got the grass colour ‘right’? The figures i moved a bit. My favorite part of this painting was putting in the dog and woman (center). You can just make out her silhouette – as she bends over to correct her pet, the dog is almost in a submissive position. I was delighted i got the shadows just dark enough. I also love the way the man walking his dog is so relaxed and just taking it all in.
