Queensboro Bridge from East River.

Another watercolour sketch from my travels in New York City. This was a sketch done from camera phone. The sky setting was MUCH more beautiful than this image. I was compelled, or almost possessed to draw/paint this scene. The silhouetted image of the bridge against the colourful sky was a thing to behold – the cities subtle outline of buildings in the backround add some unity . I could honestly make out every piece of steel and car passing over on this ornamental bridge: called: ‘Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge’. I painted this from a different place/scene in an earlier blog post.

Watercolour: 297 X 210mm. FOR SALE: €60.
