Killiney Beach Bathing Area – Watercolour Sketch.

Killiney Beach bathing area is a commission for a client which I did this week. I was delighted to be able to assist him with this project in one of the most beautiful beaches in Dublin. I’ve know this little concrete hideout for years and it is a real bathers ‘haunt’ tucked away in the heart of Killiney Beach.  It was only after I had completed the sketch and Watercolour that I realised it was built in the 1950’s. It is such a beautiful area and it’s now is easy for me to understand why my client absolutely loves the area.

Anyway, here is the Killiney Beach bating area in all its glory above. There will be more posts to come very soon so please keep an eye on my blog posts and follow me on Facebook.

I hope that you enjoy my new website which I am absolutely thrilled with. And, of course, the designer who I have to acknowledge: Sean Leo of: budgetwebdesign.ie.

The Watercolour dimensions are: 30cm X 21cm

This is a Watercolour sketch and I love to experiment with this beautiful and demanding medium. Plein-air painting and sketching (painting in the open air/landscape) help me see things much more clearly. I want my viewers to see I put all my energy into every work possible. I honestly hope this to shows through. I want you to enjoy viewing my paintings.

Please see my shop page for more of my watercolour paintings and sketches.
